Brand Identity Internship

A logo is one asset. A brand is the whole system: colour, type, layout, imagery, voice and the rules that keep it consistent across everyone who touches it.

The work

Consistency is the entire product

Brands do not fail because the logo is weak. They fail because six people apply it six different ways. Your job is to write the system that stops that happening.

  • 1You define positioning before touching visuals
  • 2You build the visual system: type, colour, layout, imagery
  • 3You apply it across real touchpoints to stress-test it
  • 4You write the guidelines document that governs it

No prior branding experience needed. Weeks 1 to 3 cover the toolkit from zero.

Skills

Eight things you will actually be able to do

01

Brand strategy

Positioning, audience, personality and a written brief you can design against.

02

Visual identity

Logo systems, marks and the core visual asset every application starts from.

03

Colour systems

Primary, secondary, functional colour, accessibility and print consistency.

04

Typography systems

Type pairing, scales, hierarchy and licensing that will not get a client sued.

05

Layout systems

Grids, spacing, composition rules and templates that stay on-brand.

06

Art direction

Photography and illustration direction so imagery matches the identity.

07

Applications

Stationery, packaging, signage, social and digital touchpoints.

08

Guidelines

Writing rules people actually follow, with do and do-not examples.

Curriculum

The 12-week plan

Four phases. Each one ends in a deliverable that is reviewed and graded before the next opens.

Strategy

Deciding what the brand is before deciding how it looks.

  • Brand brief, audience and competitor audit
  • Positioning, personality and brand attributes
  • Moodboards and creative territories
  • Adobe toolkit: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
Deliverable

A written brand strategy with positioning, attributes and three visual territories.

The capstone

Every intern delivers a complete brand

You take a real brief (an Ezitech client, a product line, an internal sub-brand), from strategy through visual system to a guidelines document that governs how everyone uses it.

  • A written strategy, not just a visual mood
  • A system applied across twelve real touchpoints
  • A guidelines document a client can hand to any designer

The Ezitech model

What every Ezitech intern gets

Three things that make this different from a course you watch on a screen.

Live client briefs

You work on real Ezitech projects with real deadlines and real revision rounds, not recycled practice exercises.

A mentor, not a playlist

Weekly reviews with someone who does this work for a living, plus a team of interns around you to build with.

Portfolio and experience letter

You finish with shipped work you are allowed to show and a letter that says exactly what you delivered.

And you leave with
  • Verified certificate

Issued by Ezitech Institute and verifiable by employers.

  • Experience letter

On company letterhead, stating exactly what you delivered.

  • A brand guidelines document

A complete identity system delivered as a usable guideline PDF.

  • Interview preparation

CV rewrite, portfolio case study and a technical mock interview.

  • A route into the team

Top performers are considered first for paid junior roles.

  • Confidence in review

Twelve weeks of defending your own work to a senior practitioner.

Built for you if

  • You are a student or fresh graduate in design, media or marketing
  • You already do some graphic design and want to think in systems
  • You want a full brand project in your portfolio
  • You enjoy writing and reasoning as well as designing

Not a fit if

  • You want a certificate without doing the work
  • You cannot give 25 hours a week for 12 weeks
  • You are looking for a purely theoretical course
  • You want to skip review and work alone

How is this different from the Logo Design track?
Logo Design goes deep on the mark itself: construction, grids, variants. Brand Identity is the whole system around it: strategy, colour, type, layout, imagery, applications and the guidelines document. Many interns do logo first, but you can start here.
How many hours a week does it take?
A minimum of 25 hours across 12 weeks, split between onsite sessions, mentor reviews and independent work. Interns who treat it as full-time finish with noticeably stronger portfolios.
Is it remote or onsite?
Hybrid. Onsite days run at the Ezitech office in Rawalpindi; the rest of the week is remote with scheduled check-ins. Candidates outside Rawalpindi and Islamabad can complete the track fully remotely if they attend the weekly review calls.
Do I need Adobe licences?
Not your own. You work on the Ezitech workstations with the licensed Adobe suite during onsite days, and the track is structured so that the heaviest Illustrator and InDesign work happens in those sessions.
Can final-year students apply?
Yes, and many do. The capstone is regularly used as a final-year project because it is built from a real brief with real requirements. Agree the scope with your mentor in week one if your university has a set submission format.
How do I apply?
Register on the Ezitech intern portal, choose the Brand Identity track, and complete the three-step form with your education details and CV. Shortlisted candidates get a short screening call before the intake starts.
