The work

Designers who understand file size get hired twice

Every front-end team has a story about the 4MB hero image. Being the designer who exports at the right size, in the right format, at the right density makes you immediately useful.

  • 1You get a real page design and a weight budget
  • 2You produce every asset it needs, at every density
  • 3Your mentor reviews quality against file size
  • 4You hand off a documented, organised asset library

No prior Photoshop needed. Weeks 1 to 3 cover the toolkit from zero.

Skills

Eight things you will actually be able to do

01

Photo editing

Retouching, masking, colour correction and non-destructive workflow.

02

Vector and SVG

Icons, illustrations and hand-optimised SVG that stays small and scalable.

03

Web layout assets

Heroes, cards, banners and section graphics that fit a real grid.

04

Compression

JPEG, WebP, AVIF, PNG and choosing format by content, not by habit.

05

Responsive assets

Densities, srcset, art direction and cropping for different breakpoints.

06

Consistency

Colour management, style consistency and matching a design system.

07

Ad and social sizes

Display banners, social crops and templates that scale across a campaign.

08

Handover

Naming, organisation, export presets and documentation developers can use.

Curriculum

The 12-week plan

Four phases. Each one ends in a deliverable that is reviewed and graded before the next opens.

Toolkit

Photoshop, Figma and the fundamentals.

  • Photoshop: layers, masks, smart objects, adjustments
  • Figma for web asset production and export
  • Colour management, profiles and screen accuracy
  • Resolution, density and pixel-perfect thinking
Deliverable

A retouched and colour-corrected image set, exported at three densities without quality loss.

The capstone

Every intern ships a real site’s assets

You produce the full asset library for a live Ezitech website build, working to the same weight budget the developers have to hit.

  • Every asset a real page needs, at every density
  • Measured against a page weight budget
  • Organised and documented for developer handover

The Ezitech model

What every Ezitech intern gets

Three things that make this different from a course you watch on a screen.

Live client briefs

You work on real Ezitech projects with real deadlines and real revision rounds, not recycled practice exercises.

A mentor, not a playlist

Weekly reviews with someone who does this work for a living, plus a team of interns around you to build with.

Portfolio and experience letter

You finish with shipped work you are allowed to show and a letter that says exactly what you delivered.

And you leave with
  • Verified certificate

Issued by Ezitech Institute and verifiable by employers.

  • Experience letter

On company letterhead, stating exactly what you delivered.

  • A production asset library

Every asset a live site needs, exported and optimised.

  • Interview preparation

CV rewrite, portfolio case study and a technical mock interview.

  • A route into the team

Top performers are considered first for paid junior roles.

  • Confidence in review

Twelve weeks of defending your own work to a senior practitioner.

Built for you if

  • You are a student or fresh graduate in design or media
  • You want to work alongside web developers
  • You like precision and organised files
  • You want a practical, immediately hireable skill set

Not a fit if

  • You want a certificate without doing the work
  • You cannot give 25 hours a week for 12 weeks
  • You are looking for a purely theoretical course
  • You want to skip review and work alone
FAQ

Questions people ask

Everything applicants email us about, answered before you apply.

Talk to the admissions team before you commit twelve weeks.

Contact Ezitech
Is this design or production work?
Both, weighted toward production. You make aesthetic decisions, but the discipline being taught is turning a design into assets that ship: correct formats, densities, file sizes and naming. That skill is in constant demand and rarely taught.
How many hours a week does it take?
A minimum of 25 hours across 12 weeks, split between onsite sessions, mentor reviews and independent work. Interns who treat it as full-time finish with noticeably stronger portfolios.
Is it remote or onsite?
Hybrid. Onsite days run at the Ezitech office in Rawalpindi; the rest of the week is remote with scheduled check-ins. Candidates outside Rawalpindi and Islamabad can complete the track fully remotely if they attend the weekly review calls.
Photoshop or Figma. Which matters more?
Figma for interface and vector assets, Photoshop for photographic work. This track uses both because real projects need both, and knowing which tool a task belongs in is part of the training.
Can final-year students apply?
Yes, and many do. The capstone is regularly used as a final-year project because it is built from a real brief with real requirements. Agree the scope with your mentor in week one if your university has a set submission format.
How do I apply?
Register on the Ezitech intern portal, choose the Web Graphics track, and complete the three-step form with your education details and CV. Shortlisted candidates get a short screening call before the intake starts.
