Cyber Security Internship
in Pakistan

Defend, test and investigate real systems in safe, legal labs, not just watch videos about hacking. Mentored by engineers who secure live client applications, you learn SOC monitoring, penetration testing, cloud security and incident response the way teams use them at work.

Choose your track

6 specialised cyber security internships

Every track runs three months, hybrid, with a mentor from the delivery team and a portfolio project at the end. Pick one, or take the six-month flagship above to cover all of them.

What you do in a cyber security internship at Ezitech

A cyber security internship at Ezitech means defending, testing and investigating real systems in safe, legal labs, not watching videos about hacking. You pick one of six three-month tracks (SOC analyst, penetration testing, application security and DevSecOps, cloud security, digital forensics and incident response, or GRC) or the six-month All-in-One Cyber Security programme.

You work with Linux, networking, Wireshark, Burp Suite, SIEM tools and Python, mentored by engineers who secure live client applications. The flagship ends with a full security assessment report you can show employers.

What every Ezitech intern gets

Live client briefs

You work on real Ezitech projects with real deadlines and real revision rounds, not recycled practice exercises.

A mentor, not a playlist

Weekly reviews with someone who does this work for a living, plus a team of interns around you to build with.

Portfolio and experience letter

You finish with shipped work you are allowed to show, and documentation of the experience for employers.

Hybrid by design

On-campus days at our Rawalpindi office for reviews and labs, remote days for focused build time.

Questions we get asked

Who can apply for this internship?

Students in their final years, fresh graduates and career changers are all welcome, including BS Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT and Software Engineering students. What we look for is that you are curious about how systems break and willing to practise every week.

What does hybrid actually mean?

You come in to our Rawalpindi office for lab days, mentor reviews and team sessions, and work remotely the rest of the week. Exact days are set with your mentor at onboarding.

How long does each track take?

The 6 specialised tracks run three months each. The flagship All-in-One Cyber Security programme runs six months and covers blue team, red team, cloud and incident response in one continuous programme.

Can I take more than one track?

Yes. Many interns finish one specialised track, for example SOC Analyst, and then continue into a second such as Penetration Testing. If you already know you want the full picture, the six-month flagship is the shorter route.

Do I need hacking experience before I apply?

No. You need basic computer and networking knowledge and the patience to read logs and documentation. We start every track with Linux and networking fundamentals. All testing happens in authorised labs and practice targets, never on systems you do not own or have permission to test.

Is the cyber security internship paid?

There is no stipend. The internship has a one-time programme fee for the full three months, not per month, and it is refundable within the first 7 days.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. Interns who complete their track receive a completion certificate and an experience letter that states the dates and the work they did.

Can I do the cyber security internship remotely?

Yes. Every cyber security track can be done fully remotely from anywhere in Pakistan, with the same mentor reviews and lab work, using your own laptop and free tools.

Is there a cyber security internship in Islamabad?

Our office is in Rawalpindi, on Main Peshawar Road, a short commute from most of Islamabad. Students from Islamabad join onsite, hybrid or fully remote. See IT internships in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

When can I start the cyber security internship?

Applications are open all year, so you can apply and start when it suits your semester. Each specialised track runs three months and the All-in-One programme runs six.

Which cyber security internship track should I choose?

Pick SOC analyst if you want to monitor and respond to alerts, penetration testing or application security if you want to find weaknesses, cloud security for cloud platforms, digital forensics for investigations, and GRC if you prefer policy, risk and audits. The six-month All-in-One programme covers them all.

Ready to start your cyber security internship?

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Pick a track, send the form, and we will get back to you about the next intake.
