You write production Dart, not tutorial Dart
Week one you are in the team repo opening pull requests. Every line you push is reviewed by a Flutter developer who ships client apps for a living.
- 1You get a product brief, a Figma file and a deadline
- 2You build on a branch and open a pull request
- 3Your mentor reviews it and tells you what would break in production
- 4You revise, merge, and move to the next feature
No prior Flutter needed. Weeks 1 to 3 teach Dart and the widget system from zero.
// Week 6: real API, real error states class InspectionRepository { final Dio _client; InspectionRepository(this._client); Future<Result<List<Inspection>>> fetch({ required int page, }) async { try { final res = await _client.get( '/inspections', queryParameters: {'page': page, 'limit': 20}, ); return Result.ok( res.data.map(Inspection.fromJson).toList(), ); } on DioException catch (e) { return Result.err(AppError.from(e)); } } }
What you will be able to do after this Flutter development internship
Dart, properly
Null safety, futures, streams and the patterns teams enforce in review.
The widget tree
Constraints, layout debugging, Material 3 theming, reusable components.
State management
Riverpod and Provider on a multi-screen feature, not a counter demo.
Routing & deep links
Nested navigation, guarded routes, links that open the right screen.
Firebase backend
Auth, Firestore modelling, storage, security rules, push notifications.
REST & offline data
Dio clients, typed models, pagination, retry states, local cache.
Adaptive UI
One layout that holds on a phone, a tablet and an iPhone. Dark mode included.
Build & release
Flavors, signing, icons, size reduction, store-ready Android and iOS builds.
The 12-week Flutter development internship plan
Four phases. Each one ends in a deliverable that is reviewed and graded before the next opens.
Foundations
Dart from zero, the widget system, and how the team actually works.
- Dart language, null safety, async fundamentals
- Flutter setup, project structure, hot reload
- Core widgets, constraints, Material 3 theme
- Git branching, pull requests, review etiquette
Five pixel-accurate screens built from the supplied Figma file, merged through a reviewed pull request.
State & data
Where the app stops being screens and starts being software.
- Provider then Riverpod: separating UI from logic
- REST integration with Dio, typed models, JSON
- Loading, empty, error and retry states
- Local persistence with Hive for offline reads
A list-and-detail flow running on live API data, with pagination, search and a working offline mode.
Backend & auth
Real users, real permissions, real consequences for getting rules wrong.
- Firebase Auth: email, phone OTP, Google sign-in
- Firestore modelling, queries, indexes, security rules
- Cloud Storage uploads with progress and compression
- Push notifications with FCM, analytics, crash reporting
A fully authenticated app where two user roles see different data, secured by rules you wrote and tested.
Ship it
The three weeks that separate a project folder from a product.
- Widget and integration tests, profiling for jank
- Flavors, app signing, icons and splash screens
- Play Console listing, screenshots, release checklist
- Portfolio case study, CV rewrite, mock interview
A signed release build, a public GitHub repository and a written case study you can send to employers.
Every intern ships one real app
You get a live product brief from Ezitech’s delivery pipeline: a booking app, a field-inspection tool, a marketplace. You own it from empty repo to signed build.
- Android and iOS from a single Dart codebase
- Real auth, real database, real API, real notifications
- Yours to publish, demo and put on your CV

What the Flutter development internship includes
Three things that make this different from a course you watch on a screen.
Live client briefs
You work on real Ezitech projects with real deadlines and real revision rounds, not recycled practice exercises.
A mentor, not a playlist
Weekly reviews with someone who does this work for a living, plus a team of interns around you to build with.
Portfolio and experience letter
You finish with shipped work you are allowed to show and a letter that says exactly what you delivered.
Verified certificate
Issued by Ezitech Institute and verifiable by employers.
Experience letter
On company letterhead, stating exactly what you delivered.
A shipped app
An installable cross-platform build plus a public repository.
Interview preparation
CV rewrite, portfolio case study and a technical mock interview.
A route into the team
Top performers are considered first for paid junior roles.
Confidence in review
Twelve weeks of defending your own work to a senior practitioner.
Built for you if
- You are an undergraduate or fresh graduate in CS, IT or SE
- You know basic programming logic in any language
- You are an Android or web dev moving to cross-platform
- You need a real final-year project, not a clone
Not a fit if
- You want a certificate without doing the work
- You cannot give 25 hours a week for 12 weeks
- You are looking for a purely theoretical course
- You want to skip review and work alone
Flutter development internship: questions people ask
Everything applicants email us about, answered before you apply.
Do I need prior Flutter or Dart experience?
How many hours a week does it take?
Is it remote or onsite?
Do I need a Mac to build the iOS version?
Can final-year students apply?
How do I apply?
Not sure Flutter is the one?
Every app development internship runs three months, hybrid, with the same mentor model. Or take the six-month All-in-One flagship.
UI & UX
A product brief turned into wireframes, a prototype and a design system.
View trackNative App
Platform-native Android and iOS, and what really differs between them.
View trackAndroid
A Kotlin app with local storage, networking and a proper architecture.
View trackGame Dev
A playable 2D or 3D game in Unity with a store-ready build.
View trackBuild a Flutter app worth showing
Three months, one shipped piece of real work, a mentor who reviews you every week. Registration takes five minutes.
