3D Floor Plan Internship
Estate agents sell with images, not blueprints. You will turn real 2D drawings into furnished, lit 3D plans that make a buyer understand a space in two seconds.

Accuracy first, beauty second
A gorgeous render with the wrong door swing or a 2.1 metre ceiling is worthless. You will learn to read drawings properly before you learn to light them.
- 1You get real 2D CAD drawings from a live project
- 2You model to scale and verify against the drawing
- 3Your mentor checks dimensions before materials
- 4You light, render, post-process and deliver
No prior 3D needed. Weeks 1 to 3 cover AutoCAD and 3ds Max from zero.
Eight things you will actually be able to do
Reading drawings
Plans, elevations, sections, scale and the conventions on a real CAD file.
3D modelling
Accurate wall, floor and opening geometry built to real dimensions.
Interior detailing
Furniture, fixtures, joinery and dressing a space so it reads as lived in.
Materials
PBR materials, UV mapping, tiling and surfaces that look right under light.
Lighting
Daylight systems, artificial light, HDRI and exposure that feels natural.
Camera and composition
Top-down and perspective framing, lens choice and what to crop out.
Rendering
V-Ray settings, render passes, noise control and time-versus-quality decisions.
Post-production
Photoshop compositing, colour grading and delivering to client specification.
The 12-week plan
Four phases. Each one ends in a deliverable that is reviewed and graded before the next opens.
Drawings and modelling
Getting the geometry exactly right.
- Reading architectural drawings and scale
- AutoCAD basics and cleaning a client CAD file
- 3ds Max interface, units and precise modelling
- Walls, floors, openings and levels to real dimensions
An accurately modelled unit verified against the source drawing, with a dimension check sheet.
Detail and materials
Making an empty shell feel like a home.
- Furniture, fixtures and asset libraries
- Joinery, kitchens, bathrooms and detailing
- PBR materials, UV mapping and tiling
- Scale checking every asset placed
A fully furnished and materialled interior, reviewed for realistic scale and layout logic.
Lighting and rendering
Where the image is actually made.
- Daylight systems, HDRI and interior lighting
- Exposure, white balance and colour temperature
- V-Ray settings, sampling and noise control
- Render passes and managing render time
Three lit renders of the same space (daylight, evening and top-down), at delivery resolution.
Deliver
Client-ready output and turnaround.
- Photoshop compositing and colour grading
- Annotation, labelling and dimension overlays
- Output specifications, formats and revision handling
- Portfolio case study, CV rewrite, mock interview
A complete delivered plan set for a real unit, at client specification, with one revision round.
Every intern delivers a real client plan set
You are given actual drawings from an Ezitech property client and you produce the delivered 3D floor plan set, including the revision round.
- Modelled to verified real dimensions
- Lit and rendered at delivery resolution
- Delivered to spec, with a revision handled

What every Ezitech intern gets
Three things that make this different from a course you watch on a screen.
Live client briefs
You work on real Ezitech projects with real deadlines and real revision rounds, not recycled practice exercises.
A mentor, not a playlist
Weekly reviews with someone who does this work for a living, plus a team of interns around you to build with.
Portfolio and experience letter
You finish with shipped work you are allowed to show and a letter that says exactly what you delivered.
Verified certificate
Issued by Ezitech Institute and verifiable by employers.
Experience letter
On company letterhead, stating exactly what you delivered.
A rendered plan set
Client-ready 3D floor plans at delivery resolution.
Interview preparation
CV rewrite, portfolio case study and a technical mock interview.
A route into the team
Top performers are considered first for paid junior roles.
Confidence in review
Twelve weeks of defending your own work to a senior practitioner.
Built for you if
- You are a student or fresh graduate in architecture, interior design or a related field
- You can read or are willing to learn architectural drawings
- You have patience for detail and long render iterations
- You want portfolio work property clients actually paid for
Not a fit if
- You want a certificate without doing the work
- You cannot give 25 hours a week for 12 weeks
- You are looking for a purely theoretical course
- You want to skip review and work alone
Questions people ask
Everything applicants email us about, answered before you apply.
Do I need an architecture background?
How many hours a week does it take?
Is it remote or onsite?
What kind of computer do I need?
Can final-year students apply?
How do I apply?
Not sure 3D Floor Plan is the one?
Every 2D/3D architecture internship runs three months, hybrid, with the same mentor model. Or take the six-month All-in-One flagship.
Civil Architecture
Draft and model buildings to scale, then present walkthrough-ready renders.
View track2D/3D Animation
Rig, animate and render sequences from storyboard to composite.
View trackJewellery Design
Precision jewellery modelling with files ready for 3D printing.
View trackProduct Design
Concept sketch to CAD model to photoreal presentation render.
View trackTurn a blueprint into something a buyer understands
Three months, one shipped piece of real work, a mentor who reviews you every week. Registration takes five minutes.
