Summer internship 2027 in Pakistan
Ezitech runs its summer internship from July to September, on live client work. You can attend onsite in Rawalpindi and Islamabad or complete the whole thing remotely from any city in Pakistan. Intake is capped at 600 students.
Most summer internships in Pakistan are either a seat in a training room or a certificate with nothing behind it. This one is built around the way a software house actually works: one track, one mentor from the delivery team, weekly reviews, and a project you can show in an interview. This page covers dates, who can apply, what the tracks are and what you leave with.
Dates and seats
July to September 2027
The summer cycle starts in July and finishes in September, which lines up with the summer break at most Pakistani universities.
600 students
The summer intake is capped at 600 across all tracks. Once a track fills, applications for it close for that cycle.
Rawalpindi, Islamabad or remote
Onsite days at the Rawalpindi office for reviews, or fully remote if you are in another city. Both routes get the same mentor and the same project.
Three months
Long enough to ship something real. Shorter placements rarely get past setup and tutorials.
Applying early matters more than most students expect. Popular tracks fill first, and mentors are assigned in the order applications are accepted.
Who the summer internship is for
- University students on summer break. BS Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Data Science and related programmes.
- Students who need a credit internship. Many departments require six or eight weeks. A three-month placement covers that requirement with room to spare, and the completion certificate and experience letter are issued in Ezitech’s name.
- Final year students who want their final year project to be something an employer recognises.
- Fresh graduates with a degree but no work history, which is the gap most first jobs ask about.
- Career switchers who have done courses online and now need supervised work on a real codebase.
You do not need to be from Rawalpindi or Islamabad. Remote interns from Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Multan and smaller cities take the same track.
Tracks you can pick for summer 2027
You choose one track and stay on it for the three months. Depth beats sampling five technologies for two weeks each.
AI, ML and data
Machine learning, data science, deep learning, computer vision, big data analytics.
Design and graphics
UI and UX, logo design, brand identity, product design, all design tracks.
Also running: game development, 2D and 3D animation, 3D floor plans and civil architecture. Browse every track.
What you actually do for three months
The shape is the same in every track, and it is deliberately unlike a course.
- Weeks 1 to 2. Setup, the codebase or the dataset, and your first small task. You learn the tools the team really uses, not a tutorial stack.
- Weeks 3 to 8. Work on a live project with a mentor from the delivery team. Weekly reviews where your work is critiqued the way a colleague’s would be.
- Weeks 9 to 12. A capstone you own end to end, which becomes your portfolio piece and, for many students, the final year project.
At the end you receive a completion certificate and an experience letter. Both carry the name of a registered software house that has been delivering client work since 2015, which is what an employer checks.
How to apply for summer 2027
- Pick one track from the list above and read that track page so you know what the work is.
- Apply through the internship programme page. Applications for summer 2027 open in spring 2027.
- Have a short conversation about your background and what you want from the three months.
- If a track is already full, ask to be placed on the list for the next cycle rather than switching to a track you are not interested in.

Summer internship questions
When does the summer internship 2027 start?
The summer cycle runs July to September 2027. Exact start dates for each track are confirmed on the internship programme page closer to the intake.
Can I do it remotely from another city?
Yes. The whole internship can be completed remotely, with the same mentor, the same project and the same certificate. Onsite days in Rawalpindi are available if you can travel.
How many students are taken?
Up to 600 for the summer cycle, spread across all tracks.
Is there a fee, and is it paid?
There is a programme fee, and the reasoning behind it is explained openly on the internship programme page, along with what it covers. Ask before you apply if anything is unclear.
Will this count for my university’s internship requirement?
Three months covers the six or eight week requirement most departments set. You get a completion certificate and an experience letter for your department file. If your university needs a specific format or a letter addressed to them, ask us early.
Do I need prior experience?
No professional experience. You do need the basics of your track, for example some Python for machine learning or some JavaScript for MERN, because the first two weeks move fast.
What if I am in my second or third year?
That is often the best time. You finish with a portfolio project before your final year, which is exactly when it starts to matter.
What happens after the internship?
You leave with a shipped project, a certificate, an experience letter and a mentor who can speak about your work. Some interns are offered roles, but no internship anywhere should promise a job, and we do not.
Planning for winter instead?
If your university break falls between the fall and spring semesters, look at the current intake rather than waiting for July. Tracks run through the year, and the winter break is long enough to make a serious start.
