AI Course in Pakistan: Fees, Free Options and Urdu Courses Compared

An AI course in Pakistan can cost nothing, a few thousand rupees or a university fee, and the price says little about what you will be able to do at the end. This guide compares the main kinds, lists the free options we checked on 4 October 2026, and shows what a good course should teach.

To use ChatGPT, image, voice and video tools for study or work, you need neither a degree nor coding. To build AI systems, you need Python; a tools course will not get you there.

What a good AI course should actually teach

  • How the tools work and where they fail. Why a chatbot can sound sure and still be wrong, and how to check it.
  • Prompting on real tasks. Emails, assignments, reports, Excel formulas and research, and fixing a weak first answer.
  • Images, audio and video. Visuals, voice-overs and short videos, within each tool’s usage rules.
  • Projects you can show. A document, a design set, a short video or a small automation.
  • Privacy and honest use. What never to paste into a chatbot, and when to say you used AI.
  • Coding, if building is your goal. Python, data and machine learning basics. A tools course should not pretend to cover this.

Ask for the syllabus before paying: slides about the future of AI with no exercises are theory. See AI skills for non-programmers for what matters at work.

Red flags before you pay for any AI course

  • Income promises. “Earn in dollars from week one” sells hope, not skills. No honest course can promise income.
  • Fake countdowns. A timer that restarts when you reload, or “only 3 seats left” on a recorded course.
  • “Free paid tools”. Cracked software or shared premium accounts break the tools’ terms, can stop working any day and can expose your data.
  • No syllabus or sample lesson. If you cannot see what is taught, assume it is thin.
  • Fee and refund only in voice notes. Get the fee, what it includes and the refund rule in writing.
  • A certificate nobody can check. Ask how an employer would verify it.

Is there a free AI course in Pakistan? What we checked

Yes. We checked each one on its official page on 4 October 2026; intakes open and close, so check again before planning.

Government programmes

  • DigiSkills.pk: Artificial Intelligence using Python. A Government of Pakistan programme (Ministry of IT and Telecom through Ignite, run by Virtual University). Free, 12 weeks, 24 hours of video in Urdu and English, from Python basics to machine learning and a simple chatbot. The FAQ says Batch 05 enrolment opens in November 2026, first come first served.
  • NAVTTC Skills of Tomorrow. Includes a free 3-month AI for Everyone course on AI tools, prompting and automation. The last cycle closed on 15 July 2026; the next will be announced there. Ages 18 to 35, Matric or above, CNIC and an NTS test.
  • ACT AI. Free 8-week live AI training for university students, backed by HEC, NAVTTC and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (APP, 1 April 2026). Ask your university about the next cycle.
  • e-Rozgaar (Punjab). Has an AI course, but charges a fee that varies by course and centre.

Online platforms

  • Harvard CS50’s Introduction to AI with Python. Free to study online; expects about a year of Python first.
  • Elements of AI. A free, no-coding introduction from the University of Helsinki. No Urdu version.
  • Coursera, including AI For Everyone. Since August 2025 the free option is a preview of each course’s first module; full access and certificates are paid, with financial aid for eligible learners.
  • Google AI Essentials. Under 5 hours, on Coursera, paid. Google’s Pakistan page lists scholarships for students, freelancers and women in need, applied for via your university or NGO.

Free courses are good value if you finish them; pair one with a small project, since nobody checks your work.

AI course in Urdu, online or in your city

Looking for an AI full course in Urdu or a generative AI course in Urdu? That makes sense: the tools take English prompts, but the thinking behind a good prompt is easier to learn in your own language. DigiSkills teaches in Urdu and English, though its AI course is about coding. Free YouTube playlists help with one tool but rarely give structure or feedback.

For an AI course in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore or Karachi, online and classroom courses teach the same tools; choose a classroom only if you need fixed timings. In the twin cities, see IT courses in Rawalpindi.

AI course questions

AI course ki fees kitni hai?

It ranges from free (DigiSkills and NAVTTC, when an intake is open) to paid courses whose fees vary by provider. Ezitech’s AI Bootcamp has a Rs 2,000 launch price, rising to Rs 6,000 later. For a degree, check the university’s published fee structure.

Is there any free AI course by the government of Pakistan?

Yes. DigiSkills.pk runs a free Artificial Intelligence using Python course, with Batch 05 enrolment expected in November 2026, and NAVTTC’s Skills of Tomorrow includes a free AI for Everyone course when an intake is open.

Which AI course is good for beginners in Urdu?

To use AI tools, pick an Urdu or Roman Urdu course with practical tasks, such as Ezitech’s AI Bootcamp. To build AI, DigiSkills’ AI using Python has videos in Urdu and English.

Can I learn AI without coding?

Yes, for using AI tools: prompting, writing, images, audio and video need no programming. Building models or AI apps needs Python.

Do I need a laptop for an online AI course?

You can watch recorded lessons on a phone, but practice is easier on a laptop. DigiSkills, for example, accepts a desktop, laptop or Android phone.

Will an AI course get me a job or freelance work?

A course alone will not. Employers and clients look at work you can show, so finish with projects, and treat any course that promises income as a red flag.
