Cycles through 2026
- Summer cycle, July to September. The largest intake of the year, capped at 600 students across all tracks. Details on the summer internship 2026 page.
- Semester break starts, late December into January. Fewer applicants, so popular tracks stay open. See winter internships.
- Through the year. Tracks are not limited to one seasonal batch, so you can start when your own schedule allows. Current dates are listed on the programme page.
Apply three to four weeks before you want to start. Popular tracks fill first, and mentors are assigned in the order applications are accepted.
Tracks, and what you actually build
| Track | What you build in three months | Useful before you join |
|---|---|---|
| MERN stack | A full stack app: MongoDB data model, Express and Node API, React front end, auth and deployment | JavaScript basics |
| Flutter | A mobile app with state management, API calls and a real device build | Any programming basics |
| Machine learning | A model trained on real data, evaluated honestly, then served behind an API | Python basics |
| Data science | Cleaning, analysis and a dashboard someone actually uses | SQL or Excel comfort |
| Backend | APIs, a database schema, authentication and deployment | One language, any |
| React | Interfaces built from real designs, with state handled properly | HTML, CSS, some JavaScript |
| UI and UX | Research, wireframes and a design system a developer can build from | Any design tool |
| SEO and digital marketing | Keyword work, on page changes and measurement on a live site | Clear written English |
Other tracks include full stack, PHP and Laravel, WordPress, Android, computer vision, deep learning, logo design, 2D and 3D animation and game development. See all tracks.
What is different about 2026
- AI tools are assumed, not impressive. Using an AI assistant to write code is normal now. Being able to review what it produced, and explain why it is right or wrong, is the skill interviews test.
- Deployment is part of the job. Shipping something live matters more than the size of the feature.
- Remote is standard. Distance from Rawalpindi no longer decides whether you can take a place.
- Portfolios beat transcripts in software house hiring. A capstone you can demo answers more questions than a CGPA.
Track by track detail on what interviewers test is in the 2026 internship skills roadmap.
Who can apply
- BS students in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Data Science and related programmes, from second year onward.
- Final year students who want the internship work to double as the final year project.
- Fresh graduates closing the gap between degree and first job.
- Career switchers who have studied online and need supervised work on a real codebase.
What fits each year of study is set out on the page for computer science students.
