Drawings are the language, models are the argument
Clients approve buildings they can picture. You will produce both halves: the technically correct drawing set and the presentation that makes the decision easy.
- 1You draft the plan set to real drawing standards
- 2You model the building in Revit or SketchUp
- 3Your mentor reviews drawings against the model
- 4You render, animate the walkthrough and present
Weeks 1 to 3 cover AutoCAD and drawing conventions from zero.
Eight things you will actually be able to do
Technical drafting
Plans, sections, elevations, dimensioning and drawing standards.
3D modelling
Massing, structure and building geometry in SketchUp and Revit.
BIM fundamentals
Families, levels, schedules and why a model is more than geometry.
Site and context
Topography, orientation, setbacks and modelling a building in its surroundings.
Materials and finishes
Realistic material assignment and reading a finishes schedule.
Lighting and environment
Sun studies, environment settings and time-of-day presentation.
Rendering and walkthrough
Lumion camera paths, animation and producing a client walkthrough.
Presentation sheets
Layout, annotation, sheet composition and a presentation clients follow.
The 12-week plan
Four phases. Each one ends in a deliverable that is reviewed and graded before the next opens.
Drafting
The drawing set, done to standard.
- AutoCAD: layers, blocks, dimensioning, plotting
- Plans, sections, elevations and conventions
- Reading and correcting an existing drawing set
- Scale, annotation and title block standards
A complete drafted plan set for a small building, checked against drawing standards.
Modelling
Turning drawings into a building.
- SketchUp massing and rapid design iteration
- Revit fundamentals: levels, walls, families
- Structure, openings, stairs and roofs
- Schedules, quantities and model discipline
A coordinated BIM model matching the drawing set, with schedules generated from the model.
Context and materials
Placing the building in the real world.
- Site modelling, topography and orientation
- Sun studies and environmental considerations
- Material assignment and finish schedules
- Landscape, entourage and surroundings
A sited model with materials, context and a sun study across three times of day.
Present it
Rendering, walkthrough and the client meeting.
- Lumion setup, lighting and camera paths
- Animating a walkthrough and editing the sequence
- Presentation sheets and board composition
- Portfolio case study, CV rewrite, mock interview
A rendered walkthrough video plus presentation sheets, presented live to the Ezitech team.
Every intern presents a complete building
You take a real Ezitech architectural brief from drafted drawings through a coordinated model to a rendered walkthrough, and you present it.
- A drawing set produced to real standards
- A coordinated BIM model with schedules
- A rendered walkthrough and presented boards

What every Ezitech intern gets
Three things that make this different from a course you watch on a screen.
Live client briefs
You work on real Ezitech projects with real deadlines and real revision rounds, not recycled practice exercises.
A mentor, not a playlist
Weekly reviews with someone who does this work for a living, plus a team of interns around you to build with.
Portfolio and experience letter
You finish with shipped work you are allowed to show and a letter that says exactly what you delivered.
Verified certificate
Issued by Ezitech Institute and verifiable by employers.
Experience letter
On company letterhead, stating exactly what you delivered.
A presented building
Drawings, a BIM model and a rendered walkthrough.
Interview preparation
CV rewrite, portfolio case study and a technical mock interview.
A route into the team
Top performers are considered first for paid junior roles.
Confidence in review
Twelve weeks of defending your own work to a senior practitioner.
Built for you if
- You are a student or fresh graduate in architecture or civil engineering
- You want the presentation side that degrees often skip
- You can work precisely to standards
- You want a portfolio that shows drawings and visuals together
Not a fit if
- You want a certificate without doing the work
- You cannot give 25 hours a week for 12 weeks
- You are looking for a purely theoretical course
- You want to skip review and work alone

Not sure Civil Architecture is the one?
Every 2D/3D architecture internship runs three months, hybrid, with the same mentor model. Or take the six-month All-in-One flagship.
3D Floor Plan
2D drawings turned into furnished, lit 3D plans that sell a space.
View track2D/3D Animation
Rig, animate and render sequences from storyboard to composite.
View trackJewellery Design
Precision jewellery modelling with files ready for 3D printing.
View trackProduct Design
Concept sketch to CAD model to photoreal presentation render.
View trackDraw it, model it, and present it
Three months, one shipped piece of real work, a mentor who reviews you every week. Registration takes five minutes.
